HAIR CARE – Laced by Leah Collection

HAIR CARE

HOW DO I TAKE CARE OF MY LACED BY LEAH HAIR?

Hair Care

• Wash hair every 1-2 weeks (pending amount of styling, product build up, air and humidity) with luke warm or cool water. Excessive heat will soften the weft.
•Deep condition monthly.
• Prior to bed, make a couple big braids (reduce matting/tangling) in hair to reduce the amount of stress on the hair and weft. Wrap with silk scarf/bonnet.
• Make sure to brush the hair daily and always start from the ends and work your way up. Use a detangling brush or wide-tooth comb.
• Always use a sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner. Brush hair to detangle prior to washing.
• Spray leave-in conditioner.
• Air dry. Do not towel rub or twist the hair to dry.
• Do not overuse products on the hair.
• Do not cut your wefts which caused thinning and shedding or hair extensions
• Do not sew through your wefts which weakens the constructions of wefts and leads to thinning and shedding.
•
For Curly hair, be sure to brush the hair gently always from the bottom to the top daily and apply a leave-in conditioner as well as a curl activator so the hair is soft, moisturized and does not frizz. If you do not apply a leave in curl conditioner the hair will start to frizz and become dry.

LACE HAIR CARE
Closures, Frontals, and full lace all have lace bases. Lace is just as described, it is a piece of lace with tiny holes and hair strands looped and double knotted, not wefted or glued. Holes or patches in closures or frontals are a result of excessive tugging, scratching, or pulling on the hair which yanks the hair strands from the base. Shampoo and Condition 1"-2" away from the base. Tie on a bonnet or scarf at night to lay the frontal or closure down.

CHEMICAL ALTERATIONS: Our virgin hair is 100% unprocessed and able to be colored. It is recommended that a professional in chemical alterations for hair extensions, chemically treat the hair. Refrain from using box dyes. Before chemically altering any hair extensions, complete a strand test first. When coloring, you are at your own risk. There are no refunds or exchanges if you mess up your hair coloring experiment.
